And it seems to me the change to manual doesn't kick the automatic algorithm in, it just enhances or decreases the separation as such. It scores the director intended separation at 10 ,giving you the option of more or less layer separation, and the screen placement at 0, so you can bring it forward or deeper. Anyway, thats my conclusions, anyone else beg to differ or agree?
I own the LG 3d telly model Thanks given by: ilovenola2 Glad to see some discussion in here about the 3D settings. LG indeed makes the best 3D TVs available, and I hope they realize this and continue to support 3D in their future lineups. Honestly I haven't even tried to play with the 3D settings, since I assumed correctly it seems that leaving it on default will provide the 3D as intended on the disc.
But I"m glad there are options available to tweak the settings. I leave my settings in Auto but it's interesting playing around with the depth.
